From 2030-2130 on Saturday, the 25th of March, people worldwide are encouraged to turn off their lights and non-essential appliances to raise awareness about climate change issues, encourage people to protect the planet and save a little energy use.
Started by the WWF in 2007, they became increasingly aware of what must be done to preserve the planet for future generations.
Here are a few options of what you could do in the dark while the lights are out:
- Gaze at the Stars.
- Take a stroll in the moonlight with your loved ones.
- Take an early evening nap.
- Enjoy your evening meal by candlelight.
- Enjoy the peace and quiet!
